Linus Torvalds has tagged the Linux 4.7-rc2 kernel.

This is the second weekly test release to the Linux 4.7 kernel, which offers many improvements and new functionality.

As of writing this message no formal announcement has appeared for 4.7-rc2, but you can clone it from Git. Daily benchmarks of Linux 4.7 continue at LinuxBenchmarking.com now that the pesky 4.7 issue has been fixed preventing systems from booting.

The Linux 4.7 kernel remains codenamed the "Psychotic Stoned Sheep."
